In recent years, Pete has been applying a paste wax to your instruments before shipping. This wax will help to prevent rust.

It's not really necessary, but you may apply a paste wax to your Pete Engelhart hand-crafted metal percussion instruments periodically to help keep them looking new.

Do you have vintage Pete Engelhart pieces? Pete suggests that you clean with abrasive pads and then apply paste wax (floor wax) or light oil.
